The Franklin Firefighters union Local 3742 was founded in 1997 and was the first fire union in Warren County to be recognized by the Iaff. The City of Franklin did not oppose a union and negotiations began. When we organized we had four members that voted unaminously to be a proud part of a superior organization that is over 250,000 strong. The Iaff is a Bold Union.
Local 3742 firefighters are always working to improve health and safety and always lobbying our leaders to keep you and the community safe.
The Ohio Firefighters Assn. lobby our reps for the safety and well being of the firefighters in the State of Ohio and play a very active role politically.
The Firefighters completed a fill the boot for MDA. 1755.00 was raised in two hours. The firefighters thank the citizens of Franklin for their support.

Recently the Firefighters did a fund raiser to assist the Franklin Food Pantry. The Firefighters made a donation of 1200 dollars to the food pantry.
